Abstract: This specification establishes the requirement for one type of fire bomb, designated BLU-32A/B, designed for suspension and release from 14 inch ejector type bomb racks of light bombardment and fighter-bomber type aircraft, and the associated shipping crate. Bomb fill and fuze components are not a part of this specification. Intended Use: The Bomb, Fire, BLU-32/B covered by this specification is intended to be suitable for safe carriage by and safe ejection from high and low performance light bombardment and fighterbomber aircraft. The bomb is designed for suspension and release from 14-inch ejector type bomb racks. The shipping crate is designed to handle a single fully loaded fire bomb weighing approximately 600 pounds. Bomb fill and fuze components are not part of this specification.
