Abstract: This specification covers one type of meteorological balloon set, designated Balloon Set, Meteorological AN/DMQ-3, capable of carrying meteorological equipment at a constant altitude for flight durations up to three days. Intended Use: The Balloon Set, Meteorological AN/DMQ-3 is intended for use as a balloon carrier for transporting meteorological equipment to a predetermined altitude and remaining at that altitude for periods up to three days.
