Abstract: Purpose This document provides a technical standard for 433 MHz RFID and 2.45 GHz devices, specifically, devices operating in freely available international frequency bands at license-free power levels. Its purposes are as follows: Promote interoperability and compatibility between devices by defining a limited physical and data link layer options. Support item management applications and provide flexibility in the physical layer definitions to allow additional features for users that value such enhancements.
