Demolition Materiel: Design Principles - ED 1

Abstract: This AOP is related to STANAG 2818, which covers two AOPs:
a. AOP-31: Demolition Materiel, Design Principles, and
b. AOP-32: Demolition Materiel, Assessment and Testing of Safety and Suitability for Service.
A functional description of demolition materiel is included in this AOP. AOP-32 comprises detailed guidelines for the assessment and testing of safety and suitability for service based on the principles given in this AOP.
Purpose
The purpose of this publication is to provide principles and criteria applicable to the safety and suitability for service in the design of demolition materiel.
