Abstract

This standard applies to newly produced gas fired toilets, hereinafter referred to as appliances, constructed entirely of new, unused parts and materials: <br>a. For use with natural gas, <br>b. For use with manufactured gas, <br>c. For use with mixed gas, <br>d. For use with liquefied petroleum gases, <br>e. For use with LP gas-air mixtures, <br>f. For mobile home installation for use with liquefied petroleum gases only <br>g. For mobile home installation convertible for used with natural gas and liquefied petroleum gases when provision is made for the simple conversion from one gas to other <br>h. For recreational vehicle installation for use with liquefied petroleum gases only <br>i. For recreational vehicle installation convertible for use with natural gas and liquefied petroleum gases when provision is made for the simple conversion from one gas to the other <br>The construction of appliances for use with the abovementioned gases is covered under Part I. <br>The performance of appliances for use with the abovementioned gases is covered under Part II. <br>This standard is limited to appliances manufactured, sold and installed as packaged, completely assembled units for indoor installation only. <br>If a value for measurement as given in this standard is followed by an equivalent value in other units, the first stated value is to be regarded as the specification.
