Abstract: These technical requirements form a signaling conformance standard for supplemental services on cdma2000 high rate packet data systems. These requirements ensure that a compliant access terminal can obtain service through any access network conforming to [6]. These requirements do not address the quality or reliability of that service, nor do they cover equipment performance or measurement procedures.
This specification is primarily oriented toward requirements necessary for the signaling conformance of access terminals and to a limited extent to that of access network.
