Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of the CCU-96/B Impulse Cartridge. Intended Use: The CCU-96/B Impulse Cartridge is intended to actuate a military helicopter-rescue hoist cable cutter (MLU-57/B) to jettison a load in an emergency. It is used only in the MLU-57/B and therefore has no commercial application.
