| description abstract | This specification prescribes the requirements for the preparation of a manual of loading and unloading procedures, operational procedures, and maintenance instructions covering auxiliary armament systems and equipment for special weapon carrying aircraft. The manuals prepared to this specification are intended to be supplemental to and used in conjunction with the NATOPS/Flight, Maintenance, Structural Repair, Periodic Maintenance Requirements Manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdown and Weight and Balance Handbooks for the aircraft. Where requirements of this specification conflict with requirements of general specifications, the requirements of this specification shall apply. This specification contains the following main parts: 1. SCOPE 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Format 3.2 Arrangement of Manual 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 6. NOTES Intended Use: Manuals prepared to this specification are intended for use in providing the using activity with complete and detailed instructions for aircraft preparation, weapon loading, weapon delivery, weapon unloading, and maintenance and servicing of equipment and parts peculiar to the special weapons version of the aircraft. NOTICE: When Government drawings, specifications, or other data are used for any purpose other than in connection with a definitely related Government procurement operation, the United States Government thereby incurs no responsibility nor any obligation whatsoever; and the fact that the Government may have formulated, furnished, or in any way supplied the said drawings, specification, or other data is not to be regarded by implication or otherwise as in any manner licensing the holder or any other person or corporation, or conveying any rights or permission to manufacture, use, or sell any patented invention that may in any way be related thereto. | |
