TIA TIA-1172
Test Application Specification for cdma2000 Ultra Mobile Broadband Air Interface
Organization:
TIA - Telecommunications Industry Association
Year: 2010
Abstract: The technical requirements speci fied in this document meet the following objectives. They provide a set of procedures that the access terminal and the access network can use
• To conduct the access terminal minimum performance and certain signaling conformance tests in a factory/laboratory environment.
• To conduct measurement of certain forward and reverse link performances in a field environment.
These technical requirements form a compatibi lity standard for test applications in Ultra Mobi le Broadband™ (UMB™)2 air interface standards. These requirements ensure that a compliant access terminal and a compli ant access network can interoperate to execute tests in meeting the above objectives.
This speci fication is primari ly oriented toward requirements necessary for the design and implementation of access terminals. As a result, detai led procedures are speci fi ed for access terminals to ensure a uni form response to all access networks. Access network procedures, however, are speci fied only to the extent necessary for compatibi lity with those speci fied for the access terminal.
2 Ultra Mobile Broadband™ and (UMB™) are trade and service marks owned by the CDMA Development Group (CDG).
