GLOVEBOX INTEGRATED MICROGRAVITY ISOLATION TECHNOLOGY (G-LIMIT) TELEMETRY DATA DISPLAYS UTILIZING PAYLOADS AND COMPONENTS REAL-TIME AUTOMATED TEST SYSTEM (PACRATS) USER GUIDE

Organization:
MSFC - NASA - MSFC - Marshall Space Flight Center
Year: 2002

Abstract: PACRATS Overview.
PACRATS is a testing tool used to display real time data or recorded data in multiple formats. PACRATS has the capability to display integer and float values with a digital meter, graphs with multiple or single plots, or tables with multiple values.
PACRATS was designed to:
Provide a generic data acquisition system for test personnel.
Run on inexpensive, widely available computer hardware.
Be user friendly.
Be easily modified when additional data acquisition requirements are identified.
The standard PACRATS configuration consists of a personal computer running PACRATS software to acquire data. This configuration is fully self-contained, capable of acquiring, recording, and displaying data. If the user does not want to record data on the local hard disk of the acquisition computer, PACRATS can be configured to record data to a remote computer via an Ethernet network. PACRATS software is not required on the remote computer. Also, the user can connect additional display computers to the data acquisition computer via an Ethernet network. The display computers run the same PACRATS software as the acquisition computer. The data acquisition computer transmits data via the network to the display computers. The display computers receive the data and display it. The user has control over how each display is configured.
