description abstractThis specification covers the requirements for two types of flyers\' ruggedized anti-exposure neck seal. Intended Use: The neck seal is military unique due to the neck seal\'s use with the continuous wear coverall worn during overwater flights to protect the aircrewmember from hypothermia in the event of immersion in cold water. The neck seal types are intended to be fitted on an individual basis and altered by maintenance personnel for use with all sizes of continuous wear coveralls.
