Abstract: This specification covers one type of a full-tracked, self-propelled, tactical missile loader for loading and unloading Hawk Guided Missiles onto and from Hawk Missile System Launchers and Pallets. Intended Use: The loader-transporter is intended to transfer HAWK guided missiles between the pallets and the launcher, and to otherwise handle missiles and pallets as may be necessary within a missile battery. It is also intended for limited use as a crane and for short distance towing. The loader-transporter is military unique by design and able to perform its specific duties while under extreme battlefield conditions.
