Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Management Program by FMD
Year: 2007
Abstract: PURPOSE
This directive establishes general policy and procedures for the management (on a cost reimbursable basis) of all Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). This directive outlines the roles, responsibilities, and procedures of the management of the UPS systems. Its purpose shall be to ensure that GSFC's UPS systems are managed in a safe, efficient, and economical manner, and are available to meet the requirements of ongoing and future missions. This directive also establishes a UPS Advisory Panel to assist FMD management with UPS, by establishing a working forum where customer input into the program can be provided.
APPLICABILITY
This applies to all UPS systems at Greenbelt that are over 10 Kilo Volt Amperes (KVA). Generally units smaller than 10 KVA do not have normal scheduled maintenance and inspection plans.
