MSFC-RQMT-3406 REV D
MICROGRAVITY SCIENCE GLOVEBOX (MSG) ANCILLARY HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT
Organization:
MSFC - NASA - MSFC - Marshall Space Flight Center
Year: 2006
Abstract: Purpose
The purpose of this document is to define the Ancillary Hardware requirements. This document defines all Microgravity Science Glovebox (MSG) ancillary hardware requirements and verification requirements. The ancillary hardware must be vedfied to the Intemational Space Station (ISS) Pressurized Payloads Interface Requirements Document, SSP 57000. These requirements are further defined in the MSG Verification Plan Volume 1, SSP 57411. The MSG Level III Configuration Control Board (CCB) controls this document per MSFC-PLAN-2781.
The MSG ancillary hardware is made up of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) items and items designed and fabricated at MSFC. All ancillary hardware can be identified by a MSFC drawing number. Since all the MSG ancillary hardware will be launched in soft stowage bags there are no launch verification requirements.
The ancillary hardware safety requirements are defined in NSTS 1700.7B, ISS Addendum, NSTS 18798 and KHB 1700.7B.
