Abstract: Purpose
This ACMP prescribes the requirements for Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) and Configuration Data Management (CDM) to be the knowledge base necessary for the performance of configuration management. In addition to facilitating CM, the purpose of this ACMP is to provide a highly reliable source of Configuration Information to support all programme/project activities including Programme Management, System Engineering, Manufacturing, Software Development and Maintenance, Logistic Support, Modification, and Quality Management.
