Abstract: This standard shall apply to all phases of the manufacturing, processing, blending, conveying, repackaging, and handling of combustible particulate solids or hybrid mixtures, regardless of concentration or particle size, where the materials present a fire or explosion hazard.
The owner/operator shall be responsible for implementing the requirements in this standard.
Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to prescribe technical requirements for safety to life and property from fire and explosion and to minimize the resulting damage from a fire or explosion.
