Standard Method of Test for Solubility of Bituminous Materials

Abstract: This method covers the determination of the degree of solubility in trichloroethylene or 1,1,1 trichloroethane of asphalt materials having little or no mineral matter. The portion that is soluble in trichloroethylene or 1,1,1 trichloroethane represents the active cementing constituents.
