SIMULATOR, LAUNCHING, ANTI-TANK GUIDED MISSILE AND ROCKET, M22, PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION FOR

Abstract: This specification covers requirements for design and establishes a uniform method of testing one type of Simulator, Launching, Anti-Tank, Guided Missile and Rocket, M22. The purpose of the M22 Simulator testing program is to determine performance, safety, soundness of mechanical design and resistance to environments encountered during storage, handling, and service use. Intended Use: The simulator is a device utilizing energy produced by explosives, propellants, or pyrotechnics or combination thereof to produce a flash, bang and smoke signature. This is a training device used with the Hoffmann Device (Figure 1) on several armored vehicles.
