Abstract: This specification covers the requirements, examinations and tests for Gunfire Simulator (GUFS), also known as Target Kill Simulator (TKS) or Armor Target Kill Simulator (ATKS), used as a component of the Remote Target System (RETS) (see 6.1). Intended Use: The Gunfire Simulator 12725085 provides simulated gunfire effects required during armored vehicle, infantry and helicopter training scenarios. It is compatible with the THM/TG, AMTC and ILTEM target mechanisms as a part of RETS.
