PALLET, FIELD ARTILLERY PROJECTILE

Abstract: This specification covers requirements and provisions for the manufacturing and assembly of field artillery projectile pallets (FAPP) for use in unitizing 155MM projectiles. Intended Use: The Pallet is intended for use in utilizing 155MM projectiles. Latch rod assemblies of two different sizes can be used to accommodate projectiles of different sizes. The M107, M110, M449, M485, M804 projectiles can be utilized using one latch rod assembly (Type I pallet), while the M483A1, M549, M718/M741, M692/M731, M864, M795, M825 and the M898 can be utilized using the other latch rod assembly (Type II pallet).
