description abstract	This Commercial Item Description (CID), describes a VOR/ILS/MB signal generator. This CID is meant as a minimum requirement for the VOR/ILS/MB signal generator in which only those manufacturers that meet or surpass the following requirements are supplied per this CID. The signal generator shall produce both RF and audio signals for testing VHF Omnidirectional Radio range (VOR), localizer (LOC), glideslope (GS), and marker beacon (MB) receivers. The equipment shall test receivers in the benchtop environment and shall test receivers which are installed in an aircraft.
