FILTER ELEMENTS, NON-CLEANABLE, FLUID PRESSURE, HYDRAULIC LINE, 3,000 PSI, 5 MICRON ABSOLUTE, - 65 DEGREE F TO 275 DEGREE F
Organization:
ARMY - AV - Aviation and Missile Command
Year: 2009
Abstract: This specification covers hydraulic filter elements for the AH-64 series helicopter. This specification describes:
• a multipass filtration performance test under cyclic flow and vibration conditions with continuous contaminant injection for hydraulic fluid power filter elements;
• a procedure for determining the contaminant capacity, particulate removal and differential pressure characteristics; and
• specific changes, revisions, and modifications to paragraphs of the latest issue in effect of MIL-F-8815.Intended Use: This slash sheet is to be used in conjunction with MIL-F-8815 to procure noncleanable, fluid pressure, hydraulic filter elements for AH-64 aircraft.
