Water resistant watches for general use - Classification and water resistibility

Abstract: This Standard specifies the classification and water resistibility of water resistant watches for general use (hereafter referred to as "water-resistant watches"). This Standard does not apply to water resistant watches for special use such as diving.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows:
ISO 22810 : 2010 Horology - Water-resistant watches (MOD)
The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
