Abstract: This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the carbon steel tubes mainly used for the building structures (hereafter referred to as "tubes"). This Standard is applicable to tubes of 114.3 mm to 1 000.0 mm in outside diameter.
NOTE: The piles for the foundation of structures are covered by JIS A 5525.
