Measurement methods of thermal diffusivity, specific heat capacity, and thermal conductivity for fine ceramics by flash method

Abstract: This Standard specifies the test method for the determination of thermal diffusivity from room temperature to 1 700 K, specific heat capacity from room temperature to 1 000 K, and thermal conductivity from room temperature to 1 000 K by the flash method for homogeneous ceramics with porosity 10 % or less.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 18755: 2005 Fine ceramics (advanced ceramics, advanced technical ceramics)-Determination of thermal diffusivity of monolithic ceramics by laser flash method (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
