Abstract: PURPOSE. To establish procedures for the assignment of serial numbers to Government-furnished equipment (GFE) for flight hardware, ground support equipment, and related equipment provided by JSC organizations under the system established by JMI 8500.2.
APPLICABILITY. This directive is applicable to those JSC organizations requesting or furnishing GFE enumerated in paragraph 1.
