Abstract: This recommended practice covers the protection of life and property from the consequences of fire in nuclear reactor facilities other than those producing electricity.
Nuclear electric generating facilities are excluded, except for applicable and generic portions of NFPA 803 that relate to nuclear research and production reactors. (See IFPA 803, Standard for Fire Protection for Light Water Nuclear Power Plants.)
