Elastomeric seismic-protection isolators for buildings-Part 2: Test methods

Abstract: This Standard specifies the test methods for elastomeric seismic isolators used to provide buildings with protection from earthquake damage.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 22762-1: 2010 Elastomeric seismic-protection isolators-Part 1: Test methods (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
Warning: Persons using this Standard should be familiar with normal procedures related to testing of elastomeric isolators and rubber materials.
