Abstract: This specification covers full and half soles of black rubber composition for shoes and boots. Intended Use: Type I full soles are intended for use as a component in new shoes, type II half soles are for use in repair of shoes, and type III MIL-5 full soles are for use as a component in MIL-B-41818. Class 3 resists deterioration caused by oil and should be used where frequent contact with petroleum products may be expected.
