TAPE, POLYESTER (FOR USE IN AMMUNITION)

Abstract: This specification covers two types of polyester tape for use in ammunition (see 6.2).
Polyester tape shall be of the following types and classes, as specified (see 6.1).
Intended Use: The polyester tape is intended for use in the 155MM, XM203 and XM188 Propelling Charges.

Type I - Continuous Filament Polyester Weight, ounces/yard, max Class 1 0.035 Class 2 0.05 Type II - Spun Polyester Class 1 0.06 Class 2 0.08 Class 3 1.05
