Abstract: This standard establishes a basic classification system for flammable and combustible liquids.
This standard classification system is not applicable to mists, sprays, or foams.
This standard does not apply to liquids that have no flash point but that may burn under some conditions, such as (a) certain halogenated hydrocarbons, and (b) mixtures containing flammable or combustible liquids and halogenated hydrocarbons.
