Flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBes) for non-dangerous goods

Abstract: This Standard specifies requirements for the flexible intermediate bulk containers (hereafter referred to as FIBes) to be used for the conveyance of non-dangerous goods in powdery and granular forms, that are designed to be lifted from above by integral or detachable devices. NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows. ISO 21898: 2004 Packaging-Flexible intermediate bulk containers (FlBCs) for non-dangerous goods (MOD) In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
