SHELLAC SOLUTIONS (FOR USE IN AMMUNITION)

Abstract: This specification covers solutions of orange shellac suitable for use in amunition.
This specification covers two types of shellac solution, as specified (see 6.2):
Type I--Dyed.
Type II--Undyed.
Type I shellac solution shall be furnished in two classes, as specified (see 6.2):
Class 1--For application by spraying.
Class 2--For application by swabbing. Intended Use: The shellac solutions covered by this specification is intended for use in fuzes.
