FRAME SECTIONS, TENT, MAINTENANCE, MEDIUM, LIGHT METAL

Abstract: This document covers the sections of the medium, light metal, maintenance tent frame with auxiliary lighting and guying equipment. The end section provides for 8 feet (two end bays each 4 feet) in length and each intermediate section provides for an additional 8 feet in length of frame.
Sections of the frame shall be classified as follows (see 6.2):
Intended Use: The frame sections are intended to be used to support and attach the outer tent covering and the insulated tent liner, when applicable. When the tent frame sections are intended to be used for housing wheeled and tracked motor vehicles undergoing repair in cold climates, the Military characteristics require a 64-foot overall length frame consisting of one (1) end section, one (1) door section, and seven (7) intermediate sections.
