Abstract: This specification covers requirements for multiple shelf, four caster, 227 kilogram (kg) (500 pound (lb)) capacity hand trucks (hereinafter called "trucks").Intended Use: The trucks covered by this specification are primarily intended for use by stock pickers in bin areas of military warehouse and depot facilities to transport small miscellaneous items. Type II truck (with ladder) adds an additional 762 mm (30 in) for operator to reach high bins.
