MAGNESIUM POWDER - FOR USE IN AMMUNITION

Abstract: This specification covers powdered magnesium suitable for use in ammunition. Intended Use: Magnesium powder covered by this specification is intended for use in the manufacture of tracer, igniter, signal flare and pyrotechnic compositions. Type II material is required for the manufacture of bursting igniters. In general, higher density material will give longer burning times in tracers.
