Abstract: This description covers metal and polyethylene drums intended for use together as a composite packaging configuration (Department of Transportation specification 6HA1), neither of which is intended to be used separately. This configuration is intended for shipment of liquid or solid chemicals that do not physically or chemically affect, or are affected by, polyethylene. It is not intended to be used for shipment of concentrated hydrochloric acid.
