MIL-STD-1234 CHG NOTICE 3
PYROTECHNICS: SAMPLING, INSPECTION AND TESTING
Year: 1973
Abstract: This standard describes the general methods of sampling, inspecting, and testing pyrotechnics for conformance with the material requirements of the applicable pyrotechnic specification. In the event of conflict between these methods and those in the applicable pyrotechnic specification, the latter shall take precedence.
This method is used for determining a component in a pyrotechnic composition by the solvent extraction method where a lengthy extraction period between solvent and component is necessary.
Note. This method is applicable to a variety of extraction conditions, and is not intended to restrict or limit such factors as the solvent or apparatus used, or the time of extraction. For specific instructions, refer to the applicable pyrotechnic specification.
