Abstract: This specification covers the M4, M-5A1, M6, M7 and the M1917 bayonet-knives designed for use as a hand weapon, for general purpose use in the field, or as a bayonet when attached to the muzzle end of a weapon (see 6.1). Intended Use: This specification is intended to cover, but not be limited to, procurement of the following bayonet-knives:
