Abstract: This standard establishes standard methods for calculating consistent fan sound ratings from laboratory test data.
This revision removes catalog statement requirements previously found in AMCA 301-90. Those statements Certified Ratings Programme - Product Rating Manual for Fan Sound Performance. Methods for calculating sound ratings around the fan's blade pass frequency were also improved.
This revised standard was approved by ANSI as an American National Standard on 03 August 2006.
