Abstract: This specification covers steel reels for electric cable and wire.
Reels shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Single section cable reel.
Type II - Double section cable reel. Intended Use: The reels are intended for use in transporting, laying, and storing cable and wire used in airfield and heliport lighting sets.
