Abstract: The equipment covered by this specification shall receive the three-frequency OMEGA transmissions and transmit, in digital form, the sine and cosine correlations of these signals to an associated Computer.
The equipment covered in this specification shall consist of the following items:
The equipment covered in this specification shall operate with the typical associated equipment listed in Paragraph 6.7.
The performance of the OMEGA Navigational Set AN/ARN-99(V)1 with typical associated equipment shall be as specified in Appendix A.
Intended Use: The equipment defined in this specification is to be used aboard an aircraft to provide present position information to the NAV/COMM operator and Geographic Navigation System.
The equipment covered in this specification shall consist of the following items:
Units Type Designation Applicable Paragraph (1) Receiver-Converter OR-90/ARN-99(V) 3.5.1 (2) Antenna-Coupler AS-2623/ARN-99(V) 3.5.2 or AS-2623A/ARN-99(V) (3) Mounting Base MT-4534/ARN-99(V) 3.5.3
The equipment covered in this specification shall operate with the typical associated equipment listed in Paragraph 6.7.
