Abstract: This specification covers the general requirements for the standard rib tire for pavement friction testing. The tire covered by this specification is only for use in evaluation of tire-pavement friction.
Terminology in this specification is consistent with ASTM E 867.
The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
