Abstract: This UFC provides guidelines for evaluating, planning, programming, and designing Youth Centers. The information in this UFC applies to the design of all new construction projects, to include additions, alterations, and renovation projects in the continental Unites States and overseas. It also applies to the procurement of design/build services for the above-noted projects. Alteration and renovation projects should update existing facilities to meet the guidance and criteria within budgetary constraints. This UFC is not intended as a substitution during design for thorough review by individual Program Managers and Operations Staff in the appropriate Service.
