Abstract: This specification establishes the general characteristic, construction, material, marking inspection, testing, and packaging requirements for flexible, multiconductor neoprene-jacketed electrical cables. These shall be used at the John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) for interconnecting various interior and exterior ground support equipment (GSE) network systems where voltages do not exceed 600 volts (V) root mean square (rms).Intended Use: This specification is intended to be used for the procurement of flexible multiconductor neoprene-jacked cable used for instrumentation and control systems and GSE used to support the test, chcckout, servicing, and launch of space vehicles and payloads at KSC.
