Standard Method of Test for Obtaining and Testing Drilled Cores and Sawed Beams of Concrete

Abstract: This method covers obtaining, preparing, and testing (1) cores drilled from concrete for length or compressive or splitting tensile strength determinations; and (2) beams sawed from concrete for flexural strength determinations.
The values stated in SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as the standard. Within the text, the inch-pound units are shown in brackets. The values stated in each system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in nonconformance with the standard.
