STANDARD TEST METHODS FOR PASSIVE ELECTRONIC COMPONENT PARTS METHOD 1: HUMIDITY (STEADY STATE)
Organization:
EIA - Electronic Industries Alliance
Year: 1978
Abstract: PURPOSE
This test is intended to evaluate the effect of absorption and diffusion of moisture and moisture vapor on component parts. The test in an artificial environmental test, accelerated to shorten the testing time. This test is of value in determining the resistance of the component parts to the inroads of moisture, but should not be considered as a tropical test for all types of component parts.
