PROJECTILES, 20 MM MARK 100 SERIES

Abstract: This specification defines the characteristics of inert metal parts and their performance and test requirements for the projectiles used in the MARK 100 Series aircraft gun ammunition.
Projectiles covered by this specification shall be of the following types:
(a) Pressure test
(b) MARK 11 MOD 1
(c) MARK 12 MOD 0
(d) MARK 13 MOD 0
(e) MARK 14 MOD 0 Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to: Commanding Officer, Naval Air Engineering Center, Engineering Specifications and Standards Department (ESSD), Code 93, Lakehurst, NJ 08733, by using the self-addressed Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document, or by letter. Intended Use: The projectiles described herein are intended for use in the 20 MM MARK 100 Series aircraft gun ammunition.
