Abstract: This specification covers mercerized cotton cloth intended for use in the integral surface coverings of airplanes and as a base for a modified butyl rubber coated cloth. Intended Use: The cloth is intended for use in covering control surfaces, fuselages, and wings of airplanes and as the base for a modified butyl rubber coated fabric used in the manufacture of protective clothing which is resistant to rocket fuels and oxidizers.
