Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for a semi-fluid lubricant intended for the lubrication of aircraft machine guns and accessory equipment between −55°C and 70°C and under cold-sweat-cold cycling conditions. Intended Use: The synthetic lubricant covered by this specification is intended for use on the entire assembly of aircraft machine guns, associated mechanisms, and other weapons or equipment to ensure their functioning at low temperatures and under icing conditions. It is required to be compatible with oil-resistant rubber covered by MIL-P-5516. This lubricant contains silicone component which can cause irritation of the eyes.
